What is the experience level of Rabbi & Cantor Audrey Kaufman?

Rabbi/Cantor Audrey Kaufman has over 10 years of experience in officiating weddings and other special events. I have worked with couples of all backgrounds and beliefs, and I am committed to creating a ceremony that reflects your unique love story. I have officiated over 200 weddings!

Where are you licensed to do weddings?

The marriage license I can sign is only for Ontario and all ceremonies must take place in Ontario.

Are you still a rabbi/cantor?

Yes! i'm still a clergy member of a synagogue and regularly lead congregations.

Can we customize our ceremony?

Absolutely! I work with you to create a personalized ceremony that reflects your beliefs, values, and vision for your special day. We can include any special readings, rituals, or traditions that are important to you.

Can we mix multiple religions in our ceremony?

For sure! I speak to the jewish element of the wedding, but we can work together to add in other religions that are important to you and incorporate other persons that are needed to make your day special.

Can you travel for weddings?

Yes, I am available for travel for weddings. Additional travel fees may apply for events outside of the local area.

What happens if my wedding date changes?

All dates are locked in 90 days in advance with a $500 deposit. As there is only one of me, I often turn away other couples for dates. Before 90 days, I will issue you a refund if i'm not available on your new date.

Are there dates you do will not do a ceremony?

Yes, I do not do weddings around most holy jewish holidays.

How far in advance do you start booking?

I start taking weddings 1 year in advance!
